Get InvolvedThe Nevada Film Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Nevada's independent film community through education, mentorship, networking, and public engagement. We bring together filmmakers, actors, writers, crew members, students, educators, businesses, and supporters of the arts to foster collaboration and create opportunities for creative growth throughout Northern Nevada.
Through partnerships with industry organizations, educational institutions, and community stakeholders, the Nevada Film Society will offer monthly workshops, professional development programs, mentorship opportunities, and quarterly networking events designed to connect emerging and established local filmmakers. Beginning in Spring 2027, the NFS will serve as the home of the Reno FFX Student Film Festival and the Sparks Regional Film Festival, creating platforms to showcase local and regional talent, celebrate storytelling, and support the next generation of Nevada filmmakers.
